George, born in 1900, the father of Lynne Bloom, a long time volunteer in the TJ Museum office, and John, born in 1904.

Anna was a dressmaker who had her own business, sometimes employing other dressmakers. She continued working until her death at age 79, in 1953. Her husband, who died at age 54 in 1923, was a cigar maker and shop keeper, and, earlier in the late teens and early 20's, also had an electrical supply business. Both their eldest son and youngest son became professional electricians in Philadelphia. George practiced law until his death at 74 in 1974.

In 1943 Anna, her sons, their wives and children changed the family name to Ashe.
