Description Dated 1845, Krakow.

This object is both a candle holder and a spice box for the Havdalah ceremony.
The adjustable candleholder slides between four rods, the top aperture is engraved with leaf tips. At the base a small tray with shell motifs, encloses a spice drawer; on bowl-form standard and square footed base repousse with leaf ornament.

According to SPB there are spurious markings attributed to Austro-Hungary.
